The Farm Food Basket

Tree and Twig Farm Food basket is real food for your family from the farm it is grown on, with the same amazing variety that the CSA baskets are known for. It is different though. Unlike a CSA which requires a commitment for the season and advance payment, this is a eat and pay as you go arrangement. Quite simply, if you need a basket of food for the week, call. There is no waiting list, which has been an unavoidable problem for years now, there is just a field of veggies wondering who’s home they will go to this week!

A smaller number of baskets will be available beginning in April, with more and more available as the season progresses. I am hoping this new way of distributing veggies will allow more people to try what we have here, and allow many people to enjoy the majority of the seasons bounty. Any problems, we’ll be talking!

My veggies are grown without the use of pesticides, herbicides, fungicides or chemical fertilizers. My veggies have always been grown organically and I am proudly uncertified organic. I urge you to know your grower and in the words of Joel Salatin believe that "you can’t regulate integrity."

If you wonder what I do, ask me, look around... these actions alone will tell you more than a Certified Organic sticker. My food has a story and I am glad to tell that story. I only sell what I grow, unlike other food box schemes. I believe you will taste the difference.

How it Works

• orders for T and T Farm food baskets will be taken up until Monday nights, 8 pm, for baskets to be picked up the same week. This helps me plan my week, but exceptions can be made. Please don’t email me this information, (unless you want the veggies emailed), calls only please at 905-386-7388.
• Pick ups will be arranged at both parties convenience, there are no deliveries this year. A ride for your veggies into St Kitts MAY be available from another customer who is volunteering this service. This will be arranged when you call.
• there is one basket size only this year - 1/4 bushel for $20. Exceptions can be made. Cash is required at the time of your purchase.
